Eid Passport has assembled a highly successful, seasoned team of executives boasting a broad spectrum of expertise in the technology, finance and government arenas. The management team has the combined experience to satisfy even our toughest critics and consistently succeeds in meeting the many challenges facing our customers. The team is led by Steve Larson, Chairman and CEO, and Jim Robell, President and COO.

 

Steve Larson - Chairman & CEO

Steve LarsonSteve Larson founded Eid Passport in November 2001 and serves as CEO and Chairman of the Board. In 1987, Mr. Larson founded Unicru, Inc., where he served as Chairman of the Board, CEO and President. Unicru was the leader in Human Capital Management (HCM) automation technology, with over $50 million in annual revenues and over 450 employees, and was among Oregon's fastest growing private companies prior to its  acquisition by Kronos, Inc.( Nasdaq: KRON) for $150 million. Mr. Larson has participated as a board member of several technology companies and has assisted in funding and recruiting executives and board members for other companies.

 

 

   

James Robell - President & COO

Jim RobellJames Robell is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Eid Passport, Inc. Prior to joining Eid Passport in 2002, Mr. Robell served for 19 years in various technical, sales and marketing positions with Intel Corporation. Mr. Robell served as Director of Intel's worldwide Application Design-in Centers, Worldwide Intel Customer Support, Worldwide Crisis Management, the Y2K rollover and the Worldwide Intel Architecture Sales Campaign. Several of his technical articles have been published in Intel publications and he has been a keynote speaker for the company in several capacities. Mr. Robell sits on various boards and is a member of the Association of the United States Army and ASIS International.

   

Abrar Ahmed - Group President

Abrar Ahmed

Abrar Ahmed - As Group President, Mr. Ahmed holds executive management responsibilities for the vendor sales and service, field operations, information technology, information assurance, supply chain, logistics and product development departments.

Mr. Ahmed joined Eid Passport in 2007 as a Vice President and has since been promoted to Senior Vice President and most recently, Group President. He has been responsible for several key programs for Eid Passport including the DIACAP (Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Program) and securing product compliance for DOD/DHS regulations. He is also a member of the Eid Passport Privacy and Information Security Working Group.

Mr. Ahmed is a seasoned executive with more than 20 years of high-tech experience in executive management within startups and large corporations. Previously he served as the CEO of Kietra Corporation, an executive at Micro Power Electronics (acquired by Weston Presidio-a private equity firm with over than $2B in capital management), was one of the early senior members of Geotrust (Acquired by VeriSign), and has more than 10 plus years of design engineering, marketing and sales experience at Mentor Graphics and Tektronix.

Mr. Ahmed holds a bachelor’s of science degree with a double major in Electrical Engineering and Computer Design from the University of Portland. 

   

Greg Hendricks - Vice President of Defense Programs

Greg HendricksGreg S. Hendricks - As Vice President of Defense Programs, Mr. Hendricks holds management responsibilities for the company including the development, coordination and execution of federal legislative affairs and strategic relations within the Department of Defense. Completing a 30 year career in law enforcement, Mr. Hendricks retired in 2005 as a commander from the Portland (Oregon) Police Bureau. Mr. Hendricks is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the Association of the United States Army and ASIS International.

   

Sean Sullivan - Vice President of Finance and Strategic Initiatives

SeanSullivanSean Sullivan is Eid Passport’s Vice President of Finance and Strategic Initiatives. He is responsible for developing and implementing new strategic programs and for pursuing new private sector and US Federal business opportunities. Mr. Sullivan previously served for five years as a member of Eid’s Board of Directors and has wide-ranging experience formulating business strategies, overseeing management teams, as well as structuring and negotiating business transactions.

Mr. Sullivan has served on the boards of numerous private companies and continues to advise management teams on strategic development and finance issues. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oregon and his Masters in Finance from the University of Denver Daniels College of Business.

   

Mark Johnson - Vice President of Federal Programs

Mark H. Johnson is Eid Passport's Vice President of Federal Programs. Captain Johnson is a former Deputy Assistant Administrator for Maritime and Land Security of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and a former U.S. Coast Guard career officer specializing in safety, security, and environmental protection. Captain Johnson is also a former U.S. Coast Guard Captain of the Port. During this service he was responsible for all aspects of marine safety and security in his zone of responsibility. Most recently he was the senior vice president of C&H Global Security, LLC, a transportation and critical infrastructure consulting firm.

Captain Johnson has been involved in numerous national-level strategic projects including initial design of the national transportation security program for all non-aviation modes of transportation (while at TSA), national maritime strategy for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, national maritime strategy for dangerous cargo security (on behalf of the U.S. Coast Guard), and the International Maritime Sector Security Reform Framework (for Department of State). He is a frequent speaker on transportation and supply chain security and sought out as a facilitator for senior level workshops, conferences, and exercises. Captain Johnson received his Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and his Master of Science degree from the University of Southern California. He is a former Federal Executive Fellow at The Brookings Institution.

   

Katherine Cowan - General Counsel

Katherine CowanKatherine Cowan, General Counsel of Eid Passport, is responsible for managing the company's legal affairs. Ms. Cowan has been with Eid Passport since 2003. Previously, Ms. Cowan practiced at major law firms in California where she represented Fortune 500 companies in defense, commercial and insurance industries. Ms. Cowan is a member of the Oregon Bar Association and the State Bar of California; the American Bar Association, Public Contracts Law Section; ABA Cybersecurity, Privacy and Data Protection Committee; and the International Association of Privacy Professionals. She serves as a Board member of the Pacific Northwest Defense Coalition and is the Board President of the Association of Corporate Counsel, Oregon Chapter. Ms. Cowan earned her Bachelor's Degree from the University of California, San Diego and her J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.

   

Catherine Sturtevant - Vice President of Human Resources

Catherine SturtevantCatherine Sturtevant has more than 26 years of expertise in accounting, finance, and human resources. Ms. Sturtevant has held high-level accounting positions at privately and publicly held companies, including serving as General Accounting Manager and Controller for retail organizations.
