INC. MAGAZINE RANKS EID PASSPORT THE TENTH-FASTEST GROWING PRIVATE SECURITY COMPANY IN AMERICA
Eid Passport Achieves Three-Year Sales Growth of 450%
Hillsboro, Ore., Aug. 21, 2012 -- Inc. magazine ranked Eid Passport Inc., one of the nation’s leading high-assurance identity solution providers, in the top ten among privately-held security companies in the nation on its sixth annual Inc. 500|5000, a ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America’s independent entrepreneurs. The company was ranked fifth-fastest growing among Oregon companies on the list and in the top 20 percent overall at 770.
“We are honored to be nationally recognized for our outstanding success within the security industry,” said Steve Larson, chairman and chief executive officer, Eid Passport. “Our impressive growth during the past three years is a direct result of three key factors: an innovative approach to meeting a market need, the hard work of our more than 200 employees, and a laser focus on providing exceptional service to our thousands of customers across the country. We look forward to continued success as we grow our service within the government and military and continued growth in the commercial sector.”
In a stagnant economic environment, median growth rate of 2012 Inc. 500|5000 companies remains an impressive 97 percent. The companies on this year’s list report having created more than 400,000 jobs in the past three years, and aggregate revenue among the honorees reached $299 billion.

Methodology
The 2012 Inc. 500|5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2008 to 2011. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generated revenue by March 31, 2008. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of Dec. 31, 2011. Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired. The minimum revenue required for 2008 was $100,000; the minimum for 2011 was $2 million. Companies on the Inc. 500 are featured in Inc.’s September issue. They represent the top tier of the Inc. 5000, which can be found at www.inc.com/500.
